• TheGasificationFacilitycomprises3setsShell-QuenchGasification+2setsCECOGasification,eachsetincludingCoalMillingandDryingUnit,CoalPressurizationandFeedingUnit,GasificationandSyngasCoolingUnit,SlagRemovalUnit,WetScrubbingUnit,PrimaryWaterTreatingUnitandGasificationUtilities(includingFuelgassystem,Dosingsystem,CoolingWatersystemandProcessWatersystem,Steam&Condensatesystem,etc.,)and35KV/10KVSubstationand10KV/400VSubstation,toproduce550,000Nm3/h(CO+H2) RawSyngasforcustomer’sME&MEGProduct
• ThePurificationFacilitycomprises,COShiftUnit,RWU(DalianJiachunRectisolWashUnit),PSA,COColdbox,andCO2Compress,PropyleneCompress,BoilerFeedWater(BFW)SupplyStation,35KV/10KVSubstationand10KV/400VSubstation,toproduce350,000Nm3/hH2/COforMEproduct,100,000M3/hH2product&50,000Nm3/hCOtocustomerforMEGProductand91,000Nm3/hCO2forpulverizedcoaltransportandRichH2SFractionforcustomerrecoverytosolidSulfurProduct

NatureandScope

• PressureSystemEngineer(alongwiththerestofthePressureSystems/MechanicalIntegritygroupandFunctionEngineer),willprovideon-goingpressuresystemsandmechanicalintegritysupport
• Responsibilitiesincludeoperatingplantequipmentinspection,troubleshooting,repair,maintenance,mechanicalintegrityprogramdevelopment,designengineeringreview,materialsselectionandfabricationandinstallationinspectionofpressurizedsystems
• TravelinChinaandAsiaasrequired

 
PRINCIPALACCOUNTABILITIES

• TroubleshootPressureSystemissuesintheOperatingplants
• InspectPressureSystemEquipment(includingGasifiers,PressureVessels,Columns,HeatExchangers,FiredHeaters,StorageTanks,Piping,PipelinesandReliefDevices)duringplantoutages/normaloperation,evaluateresultsandrecommendcorrectionaction/repairs
• Developrepairproceduresandinspectionplanandprovidetechnicalguidancetoplantoperation/maintenanceregardinginspectiontypesandmethods.Supportrepairandinspectforquality
• LeadPressureSystemequipment/pipingrepair
• DevelopPressureSystemMaintenance/ReliabilityPlanandMechanicalIntegrityProgramconsideringvariousdamagemechanisms
• TechnicalreviewofEquipmentmodificationsusingManagementofChangeprocess
• DesignengineeringofPressureSystemsincludingdevelopmentoftechnicalspecification,reviewofmechanicalstrengthcalculationandfabricationdrawing
• Developinspection/testplansforfabricationofPressureSystemequipment/Pipelines.Inspectduringfabrication/installation
• TrainPlant/Maintenancepersonnelonpressuresystemmaintenance/inspection
• Maintainexpertiseinexistinganddevelopingtechnologiesassociatedwiththeinspectionofpressurizedsystems(ex:Shearwave,EddyCurrent,ProfileRadiography)
• InputfordevelopmentandmaintenanceofPressureSystemstandards,procedures,bestpractices,inspectioncontractsandcontractorselection
• Participateatprofessionalassociationmeetingstodeterminebestpracticesbeingusedintheindustryandapplythemtoourpressuresystems
• AssumearoleinincidentinvestigationsandRootCauseInvestigationsofincidents
• Anyotherdutiesasassigned

 
JOBREQUIREMENTS 

• MechanicalEngineeringgraduate(B.Engg,B.Tech,B.S.,)with6yearsofrelevantexperienceingasification/chemical/refinery/gasplantmaintenance/inspection/engineering
• WorkingknowledgeoftheGBandASME/ANSIcodesfordesignandinspection
• Indepthknowledgeandexperienceininspection&testingtechniquesforgasifiers,pressurevessels,heatexchangers,firedheaters,storagetanks,pipingandreliefdevices
• Knowledgeandunderstandingoflocalstatutory/regulatoryinspectionrequirements
• ProficiencyinEnglishspeakingandwriting
• Goodinterpersonalandcoordinatingskillsandtheabilitytocommunicateclearlyandeffectivelyatalllevelswithintheorganization
• DesirabletohaveGB/ASME/APIPressureVessel/Pipinginspectionqualification
• DesirabletohaveMaterialsEngineeringknowledge
